Biography: Steve Austin is regarded as one of the greatest and most influential professional wrestlers of all-time.

Austin started in pro wrestling after playing college football at the University of North Texas. He had successful stints in WCW and ECW, before signing with the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) in 1996.

He was repackaged as an anti-establishment antihero "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and his popularity boomed as a result of his famous feud with cranky company chairman Vince McMahon.

Austin is a six-time WWF Heavyweight Champion and a 4-time WWF Tag-Team Champion as well as having won the WWF Intercontinental Championship twice, the Million Dollar Championship once, a record three Royal Rumbles and was the King of the Ring in 1996.

He retired from the ring in 2003 after serious knee and neck injuries and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.

He currently hosts the podcast 'The Steve Austin Show' and the WWE video podcast 'Broken Skull Sessions' as well as the reality competition series 'Straight Up Steve Austin'.
