The Masked Singer continues to reveal new costumes ahead of the Season 8 premiere next week. The latest costume that has been added to the mix is Maize. The show had some fun with a recent TikTok trend after the character’s announcement.
The Masked Singer Reveals Maize Costume – It’s Corn!
The Maize costume features a yellow ear of corn with pink lips and large eyes. The character is wearing an orange headpiece made of feathers, and a green robe with matching gloves and a silver clasp. They’re also wearing a sparkly bracelet and ring.
In one social media post, a “Mask-Ray” clue was revealed to be butter. The show went on to follow the announcement up with a funny video set to audio from a viral TikTok video featuring “Corn Kid.” As he talks about how much he loves corn, we see shots of Maize’s costume.
Maize joins several previously announced costumes, including Bride, Avocado, Venus Fly Trap, Sir Bug a Boo, Mummies, Scarecrow, Hedgehog, and Walrus. There’s also likely to be Hummingbird costume, as this contestant has been rumored to be NFL star Tom Brady.

Season 8 Premieres September 21
Season 8 of The Masked Singer premieres on Wednesday, September 21, at 8/7c on FOX. All four judges (Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger) are returning to the panel this season, and Nick Cannon is returning as host.
This season comes with some format changes, as fans can expect two unmaskings in every episode, as well as three contestants in the Semifinals. The show will introduce new masks each week to keep things fresh.
