The Voice Season 22 is coming up fast, and the show just released a new teaser trailer to get us excited about the competition. The new video makes sure to highlight all four coaches and give us a sneak peek at some of the talent.
‘The Voice’ Shares Season 22 Teaser Trailer
The trailer shows new coach Camila Cabello joining the other three coaches and taking a selfie with returning coach John Legend. At one point, Gwen Stefani asks a contestant who her “idol” is, and she replies, “Camila Cabello!”
In another clip, Stefani exclaims, “Yes! Oh my gosh, my team is so great!” Stefani has been an on-and-off coach for years, and she won for the first time in Season 19 with Carter Rubin. Will she take home the trophy again this season?
Then there’s Legend, who appears to have some cool new gifts for his artists this season. In the teaser, he holds up a red and white jacket with “LEGEND” printed across the back. Legend won the show with Maelyn Jarmon in Season 16.
The teaser ends with a section devoted to longtime coach Blake Shelton, who is described as “the G.O.A.T.” There’s even a real goat on set with a “Blake” nametag. Shelton has been on the show since Season 1, and he’s won eight times.

The Judges Are Getting Competitive This Season
Based on this new trailer, it looks like the coaches are going to be just as competitive as we’ve come to expect from them over the years. In one shot, Shelton points and laughs at Legend, possibly because he blocked him during the Blind Auditions.
In another shot, Stefani points at Shelton accusingly and says, “It was you!” It will be interesting to see the couple sitting on the panel together since they got married last year. We’re sure there will be plenty of banter.
Toward the end of the video, Stefani says, “This is our first time fighting.” Cabello responds, “I don’t like it,” making Stefani laugh. We can’t wait to find out what all of this is about when the new season premieres September 19 on NBC.
